4 HABITS THAT TAKE MEN AWAY FROM GOD-Sacred Revelations.
The Bible is the truth. The Bible is really true. It is not a book written by humans. If the Bible had been written by men, it would be obvious, because they would not reveal their own weaknesses, errors and failures. They would present themselves as heroes and hide all their flaws. However, the Bible is inspired by God and was written for our understanding. Being a godly man requires conscious and deliberate actions; It is a lifelong process. The reality is that there are habits that are detrimental to living a godly life.
I was watching a martial arts fighter prepare for a fight, and during his preparation he went through a 12-week training camp. At this camp, he followed a very rigorous training regimen and he mentioned something that I think can also apply to Christians: during camp, he avoided certain things because they were not beneficial to his optimal athletic performance. Some of those things were alcohol and staying up late. The same principles can apply to us Christians. There are things we must avoid so as not to grieve the Holy Spirit and to live a devout life.
