Our chapel speaker today is Rev. Dr. Kevin Austin. Kevin is the Director of the Set Free Movement, an international non-profit organization that seeks to end modern slavery, and create new futures for at risk communities around the world today. He is also an adjunct faculty at Seattle Pacific University and the author of Set Free: A Guide to Pursuing Liberation in the age of Bondage (Light + Life Publications: 2019). Kevin is an internationally celebrated leader injustice work with more than 20 years of cross cultural experience, including serving as a Free Methodist missionary in Thailand for seven years. He has led workshops and trainings on four continents, reaching thousands of pastors, laypeople, students, and social service providers. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition and English from Seattle Pacific University, A Master’s of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership from Regent University
