A Social Challenge for Andrew Hamilton, President of NYU

Alexander Harrison can say, without braggadocio, that he is the greatest authority in America on the subject of social movements in Algeria prior to the referendum in 1962 granting independence to the overseas provinces, heretofore considered an integral part of France, from the "Metropole" and which forced more than 400,000 'pieds noirs' (black feet) to flee a country they had once considered their home! ABH spent over a decade interviewing former spooks and gunmen on both sides of the barricades, giving the viewer intimate looks at the lives they led and linking specific activists to specific operations! ABH NAMES NAMES!

When I say that I am the greatest authority on the Organisation Armee Secrete, I mean simply that I had taken the trouble to track down and entered the lives of more than 100 spooks and gunmen involved in the struggle! Yet my singular, unique contribution to the historiography of the subject was not appreciated by the panel of my peers at NYU. Even after granting me the degree, they barely lifted a finger to help me get placed in an emporium of higher learning.

Ascribe it to hesitancy, fear of a backlash from the politically correct far left, the fact remains that ABH, despite my outstanding qualifications, was abandoned by those members of the "professorat" (professorship) who should have been on my side, but in the idiom of Rabelais, "ils n'etaient pas au rendez vous" (they weren't there) when I most needed their help!

In this video ABH is reaching out to Dr. Hamilton, in an effort to right the wrong done to him, to have him placed as a guest lecturer at NYU for the forthcoming academic year, and ABH guarantees NYU will not be disappointed! Alexander Baden Harrison is "tout feu, tout flamme," and ready to "rendre service" if only given the chance to do so!
