Are there true prophets today who have the same office and inspiration as Moses and Elijah? This is a monumental question with monumental ramifications. How can we discern the correct answer? How can we know for sure? Should we rigorously judge professing prophets by the tests for prophets that we see in the Bible? Or should we give them a pass even though many of their prophecies fail to materialize? How should we handle sheep who are still trying to find their way in the jungle of doctrinal chaos?
