In the Adventist church, the term “medical missionary” has been associated with the practical, hands-on, helpful work of ministry. Recently, there has been concern that there will be more restrictions for medical missionaries and even on the use of the term, “medical missionary”. This Sabbath, we are joined by Elder Dave Fiedler, Joanna and Daniel DeBruyn in this study of what is medical missionary work, what should be the qualifications for true medical missionary work, and how to proceed with medical missionary work when the way seems to be closing up.
