Binding the Strongman- Prophetess Nicole McLeary

Introduction
Jesus describes the dwelling place of the strongman as a palace. The strongman is the chief spirit behind a network of demonic operation. The strongman is always attached to a stronghold.
You cannot bind a strongman without invading his territory. The strongman gains his strength through a stable environment. Strongholds are usually built overtime. The longer the strongman is in power is the more likely that he will be a challenge to unseat. The longer the stronghold is in existence is the more sophisticated and far reaching the network that is at its disposal.
The network that the devil plants is like a tree. Psalm 37:35 says the wicked flourish in their native soil (AMP) but are soon cut off. Native meaning known, comfortable or secured place. Jesus declared that every plant that his Father did not plant would be rooted up. (Matt. 15: 13-14).

When the enemy gets an environment that he can thrive in he will cement himself there. He becomes strong because the environment becomes his feeding ground. He builds and refines his weapons and warfare strategies there. He is strengthened because his stronghold is reinforced by unkept places of prayer. Reconstructing the habitation of spirits that were once torn down.

Realm of Power
The strongman rules from his strongholds. The strongman has power in his territory which his usually limited to a specific location, family line, community etc.

Strongman’s Weapons
• The spirit of fear and intimidation.
• Violence and hostility
• Poverty and Lack
• Manipulation and seduction
• Evil Family Patterns
• Destruction and tragedy
• Incurable or untreatable sicknesses and diseases
• Bondage and captivity

Strongman’s Armour
• Pride and Arrogance
• Deception
• His sophisticated network
• Communication system built around familiar and monitoring spirits


Mode of Operation
• Camouflage Where it is least likely to be detected-
• Overpowers to opponent.
• Sudden and violent attacks
• Unyielding assault in vulnerable or weak areas.

The Strongman’s Goods
• Progress, promotion and elevation.
• Blessings that were deliberated given into the hands of others.
• Breakthroughs
• Treasures
• Wealth and riches
