The New York Times ran an op ed for Valentine's Day where Stephanie Coontz pontificated that straight couples should make their marriages "more gay" in order to be happier, since gay and lesbian pairs are happier, more equal and less stressed than straight couples. But Coontz ignores actual, biological differences between men and women which help cause stress in marriage as well as the "inequalities" in their marriages as well as the core of real love.
