On the Newshour debate today, Navika Kumar talks about Kangana Ranaut and the entire ‘political vendetta’ that has been going on for quite some time now. The war of words that started with Kangana’s statement about Mumbai feeling like a mini PoK has now only made the matters worse especially for the actor. Kangana’s office in Mumbai has been partially demolished by the Mumbai Civic body BMC over charges of ‘illegal alterations’. Kangana then slammed Uddhav Thackeray and stated that now she feels the pain the Kashmiri Pandits must have felt.

Director Vivek Agnihotri tells Navika Kumar that every single illegal bungalow in Bandra needs to be demolished, even if it belongs to the CM of the state. He further adds, that Sanjay Raut even said that ‘doctors don’t know anything and compounders have better sense than doctors. Furthermore, Senior Journalist Ashutosh Mishra states that the BJP is banking on false mouth trolls.

Standing in solidarity with Kangana Ranaut, Anand Ranganathan states that this is a war that Shiv Sena cannot win. Kangana’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui claims civic body ‘threatened security’ and says ‘social boycott call was given by officials’.
