The San Francisco Audiophile Society was excited to host David Solomon, "Chief Hi-Res Musical Evangelist" for Qobuz. Check out this video to hear what David had to say about bringing Qobuz to the US market and making streaming an option for audiophiles. David also addressed (1) why Qobuz doesn't stream mp3s; (2) where Qobuz sources its files; (3) a question about upsampling and "fake" hi-res files; (4) the possibility of adding additional categories of metadata to albums in the future; and (5) a question about digital watermarking.
