Prof raj sekhar Basu is a Professor in the Department of History , University of Calcutta and has written extensively on the history of the marginalised groups in South India. In addition, he has held several distinguished visiting professorship and fellowships in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Sweden, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia. He has published with the leading international academic press and has been.directing several projects funded by national and international funding organisations.
