Through Jezebel no matter what evil is perpetrated, there is almost always a religious rationale. Spirituality may be twisted, such as an appeal to New Age ideas. It may be out-and-out paganism or witchcraft. Sometimes it veers into Satanism. When it takes on a semblance of Christianity, its veneer may be both liturgical and Pentecostal, liberal and conservative.
