#CapCut I have been loving the makeup transitions I've seen. It caused me to think of how we show up with masks on.

You hear people often say, "I'm glad I don't look like what I've been through!" or "Omg, I didn't know you were dealing with that, you come in here smiling all the time!"
Now, tell me this, what if the person showed up as their trauma due to being triggered, would you know how to help them? Probably not because they have been wearing a mask. You would probably say, "Its ok" or "It'll get better". Guess what, now you're masking their pain, the same way they have been doing.
I challenge you today to ask someone, "what is it that no one has heard you say that I can not only listen but also hear you."
