Matthew 26:28 sows us what Jesus said at the Last Supper. He essentially said, "This is My Blood, that crates a New Covenant, which being shed will give freedom, and release many from bondage and prison, due to their lack of a portion, which Satan now has, due to Adam giving the dominion of the earth to him."

This is the reason Jesus came, to defeat the works of the enemy - 1 John 3:8.
