What is an orphan spirit? Well there is no such thing as an orphan Spirit mentioned in the bible. But it is described in some ways. Since so many in this generation grow up without fathers or had fathers who were abusive or absent. This leads to deep emotional wounding. Our relationship with our early father is one of the clearest indications of how we will respond to God. So if our relationship with our earthly father was strained in any way. It can effect the way we view our heavenly father. And we have to get biblical teaching to reteach ourselves about who God is- A loving Father! We usually need inner healing and deliverance as well.

Jesus said he wouldn't leave us as Orphans:
John 14:18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you"

Jesus said we have been adopted by a heavenly Father
Romans 8:15
15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

You will also notice that the Lords prayer starts with Our father in heaven.
So in John Jesus says i will no longer leave you as orphans. And in Galatians we find out that we have been adopted as sons and daughters.
We are a child of the king. If our father was the president of the united states. Would we be worried about anything? Of course not

I tell my story was i grew up in a christian home. And i had all the head knowledge about who God was. I knew the scriptures well. I sang songs.
And went to church twice a week. I knew that God loved me from the bible verses and the songs. I had experienced God many many times and i knew he was real. But i didn't truly know he loved me personally. I knew it in my head. But not in my heart. The head from the heart is only 18 inches but its the longest journey. Also going to share on orphan spirit Derek Prince. At the end i give orphan spirit prayer! This will be an inner healing sermon.
