Pet dog walks slowly under combine harvester to enjoy straw tickling his back

This is the hilarious moment a pet dog walked achingly slowly under a combine harvester - savouring the sensation of the hay tickling his back.

The three-year-old pooch, named Tam, makes a beeline for the machinery whenever it is parked in the barn in Phitsanulok province, northern Thailand.

Footage shows the hedonistic pooch indulging his secret pleasure on the farm on November 27.

Tam's owner, Chawanluk, recorded her dog walking like a performance mime under the sharp spikes, with his eyes squinted in delight as the long rice stalks slowly tickled his back.

Chawanluk said her beloved dog could walk for hours under the harvester whenever there is straw stuck on it.

She said: "If nobody interrupts Tam in his mediation session, he will go on for hours. He just loves the feeling.

"At first, I thought there might be some stinky smell that made my dog start walking that way, but when I went near him, there was nothing at all."

The loving pet owner believes her dog's behaviour is special since she has never seen other dogs doing it.

She added: "It just gives him pleasure to do that. My dog is happy doing that, even if it looks funny to us."
