Prayer for Renewal, Mercy, and Comfort

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with grateful hearts as we step into a new week. Thank You for Your love, grace, and the opportunity to serve Your purpose. Just as You delivered the man in Mark 5:1-20, freeing him from bondage and restoring him to new life, we praise You for the freedom we have in Christ. Lord, open our eyes and lead us in the path of righteousness, so we may walk in Your light and share Your goodness with others.

Father, we humbly seek Your mercy and ask for forgiveness for all our sins—our thoughts, words, and actions that have fallen short of Your will. Cleanse us, renew our hearts, and fill us with Your Spirit, as You did with the believers in Acts 3:19, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." May we find refreshment in Your presence, and may our lives reflect the transformation You have given us.

Lord, we lift up those affected by the recent airplane accidents. We pray for the souls who have perished, that You may receive them in Your mercy. Comfort the grieving families and give them strength in this time of sorrow. We ask for healing for the injured and wisdom for those investigating these tragedies, that solutions may be found quickly to prevent further loss. As Acts 20:32 reminds us, "Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified." May Your grace be with those who are suffering, lifting them up and carrying them through their pain.

As we enter this week, guide us to be vessels of Your love and truth. May our lives be a testimony to Your saving power, just as the healed man in Mark 5 went forth to proclaim what You had done for him. Let our actions bring glory to Your name, and may we trust in Your divine plan through every challenge we face.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray,
