Relationships - Part 1 of 2
Relationships in our lives have key roles in our development and growth. From the time we are conceived and born until the time we die, relationships in our lives have an impact on us, both positive and negative.
Relationships shape our worldview and affect how we see ourselves in the world. The Society we grow up in predetermines our responses and judges us according to those responses; thereby defining us as law-abiding members of society or rebels.
When it comes to our dealings with the entity we call God, we are first introduced to Him through a system of religious ethics and values. Our relationship with God is predetermined by society and deposited in our psyche and spirit long before we get to know the Almighty for ourselves.
However, YeHoVaH has predetermined the kind of relationship He wants to have with us. The most important relationship in our lives is supposed to be our relationship with YeHoVaH! Every other relationship in our lives will not be proper if our relationship with YeHoVaH is not our primary relationship.
