There are a number of ways to install a sling. A popular way for some is to use door mounts and a dual hook stand. This is most common among people that also have a swing since normal sling stands can not support a single or dual hook swing.

So going this route give you the advantage of being able to do a swing or a sling and no screwing into your ceiling.
