I’ve just started the foray into shibari, but I’ve been researching it and studying for a long time. Here’s my first video doing some shibari.

Shibari can be sexual, but it is not sexual in nature. The history of shibari is long and complex, like the knots we weave. It actually started as a method to restrain war prisoners more effectively.

In this video you’ll see a quick PSA on the different types of ropes, what ropes are best for beginners, and what to watch out for when tying someone up.
