SHIBARI ROPE BONDAGE. LTP Gang ft. Pat Robertson: home movie upload (1988)

In circa early 1988 – long before the advent of social media and camera phones – my father and his friend brought a VHS camcorder to their job site to record themselves bantering and showing off the factory's machine equipment. This was recorded at a former machine parts company called LTP (Lancaster Threaded Products) located off a back road near Lincoln Highway in Lancaster, PA.

Although the cameraman is unknown, the main person in this video is my father Raphael von Brunk – a.k.a. the original Baron von Brunk. He makes an appearance at the very beginning, and can also be seen at the very end: he's the guy in with the long sleeved light blue shirt, high cheekbones, and whiny Midwestern accent.

Notes:

• This footage was extracted by me from an old family VHS tape I had in my collection, which was labeled "LTP Gang ft. Pat Robertson"

• My father and the cameraman have a quick discussion about the 1988 presidential primary elections, in which they talk about Jesse Jackson and Pat Robertson. At the very end of the video my father impersonates Rat Robertson's debates, by using McDonald's food as a visual gag

• My father smokes a cigarette whilst working on machines: that was completely common and acceptable in the '80s
