If you’re still struggling with whether God is mad and feel distant or don’t really know much about this God thing, you can say this quick prayer that works like a charm for me and a lot of my other friends who struggled with the same thing :

Dear God,
It’s me ______.
I realise that I’ve put you off for a while, and I humbly acknowledge my past mistakes. I believe you died in my place and paid the full price for my damage. I ask that you would come and take your rightful place in my heart as I embark on this new journey with you, I cannot save myself, it is only through you that I am free from the bondage of sin and past hurts.
Thank you for restoring me to my original design.
I am officially yours again and I am going to live my life boldly for your Glory !
I love you Jesus.
Amen.
