Elmo opens the door to a pile of clothing that falls into the room. A montage of children dressing themselves, pets and toys plays.Dorothy has an orange figurine wearing a hat, mittens and pants in her fish bowl. She asks "How do you get dressed?"
Mr. Noodle gets dressed. Starting in a red union suit, he buttons the top buttons on his shirt, ties his bow tie, and puts on his pants and suspenders. When he finishes, he finds his suspenders are still looped over the hook on the door they were hanging on.
Kids show Dorothy how they put on socks, a sweatshirt and snow pants. Elmo asks a baby with a sun hat.
Elmo asks the viewer to help him count CGI pants marching across the screen, which are followed by three ants in the pants.
Ernie shares that Rubber Duckie likes getting dressed and shows the duckie dressed as a police officer.Elmo asks questions about what people wear to work.
