Our 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Celebration and Benefit Banquet was an unforgettable evening. If you were there, I’m sure you would say the same thing. More than 700 people filled the Riverside Convention Center to join with us in glorifying and honoring God for the miraculous 60-year movement of His Spirit that we have witnessed.

During the event, hundreds of people were honored for their vital contributions to this ministry. This included all our Ladies Guild members, GED teachers, volunteers, jail chaplains, and many others.

Some of the notable awards given out were to TCSC’s first Executive Director, Don Hall, who was presented with “The Barnabas Award: The Teen Challenge Pioneer”. Andrae Crouch was posthumously honored with “The Music Pioneer Award” and his award was capped off with a tribute of his famous Gospel song “To God be the Glory.” Gary Wilkerson was also honored with “The David Wilkerson Award: The Journey Continues”, and we honored Nicky Cruz with “The Living Legacy Award: A Life of Faith and Freedom.”

Some of the other awards presented included: The Change-Maker Award, The Distinguished Shepherd Award, the Hebrews 6:10 Award, The International Visionary Award, The International Legacy Partner Award, The Love In Action Award, and the Alumni Ambassador Award.

Each award was given because of the honoree’s unwavering and steadfast commitment to see life-transformation take place in the lives of our students. We will continue to honor and celebrate our volunteers, supporters, and ministry friends at our local centers too.

Thank you for standing with us these last 60 years.

The journey of faith and freedom continues.
