Understanding the Sacredness of Sex: The Ten Commandments Bible Study (Part 8)

We live in a sex saturated, sin soaked world, where living a God-honoring and holy life seems difficult at best and impossible at worst.

Did you know that God created sex?

It was His idea way back in the Garden of Eden. But as in everything, the Devil steps in and counterfeits God’s creation.

It’s God who hard-wired the desire for, and the appreciation of sex into human beings.

Then the Devil comes along and twists and turns it into a perversion.

Since asking and answering questions has been so helpful in discovering what God has for us in our Bible study series on the Ten Commandments, we are going to continue with that plan as we examine Exodus 20 verse 14, “You shall not commit adultery.”

In, this message on the Sacredness of Sex, we will ask and answer these four questions:

1. How does God feel about sex?
2. How did Jesus tell us that we were to interpret the Seventh Commandment
3. Why is this such a big deal with God?
4. How can I stay away from sexual sin in my life?

The stakes are high.

Holiness is our aim.
