When Christ came he came to set us free from our sins and from the enemy. He removed the veil separating us from God and has given us access to the Father and the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ lives inside of us and “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
However, far too often people become Christians and may have been for a long time and they have the ability to be set free but they are still in bondage.
Some frequent places of bondage can be remembered with the acronym SOUL-L Sins, Occult, Unforgiveness, Lies, and Lineage.
Sin: They’re Christians but still bound to their lives of ongoing habitual sin. Occult: They’re Christians but still bound to the occult with involvement with things like horoscopes, psychics, mediums, witchcraft, tarot cards, crystals, karma and more.
Unforgiveness: They’re Christians but still bound up with unforgiveness by not giving the grace that God gave them to those who’ve sinned against them.
Lies: They’re Christians but still bound; believing lies about themselves and about God.
Lineage: They’re Christians but still bound by generational sins in their family line.
But there is hope. You can claim your freedom that is available to you by using the authority given to you as a believer.
A great and easy way claim your freedom is to use the process know as CCCC,
Confess, Cancel, Command, and Commit.
As a believer the Holy Spirit lives inside you so if you are bound then all you have to do is claim your freedom and you can remember that with the 4 C’s. CCCC, Confess, Cancel Command and Commit.
Confess your past sins or those done by generations before you.
Cancel any agreement you have made with the enemy by your participation in any of those areas we listed before, Sin, Occult, Unforgiveness, Lies, and Lineage by repenting of those actions,
Command any and all spirits behind those places of bondage besides the Holy Spirit to leave
Commit those areas of your life to the Holy Spirit and invite him into them.
If you have more questions about SOUL-L OR CCCC don’t hesitate to ask questions, as we just scratched the surface. But the truth is that we can all be saved and we can all be set free because of what Christ did for us and because where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom.
