Welcome to the 2nd International Virtual Symposium of Developments in African Theatre and Performance. The International Virtual Symposium is a new initiative by the African Theatre Association (AfTA) and is currently in its second year.
The AfTA International Virtual Symposium provides a global platform for Africanist scholars and practitioners to come together to discuss new developments and bring to light significant issues of contemporary interest in African theatre and performance in all its many manifestations on the continent and the diaspora.
The 2nd International Virtual Symposium of Developments in African Theatre and Performance will take place as follows:
