A down-to-luck actress lands a job in a thriller playing a uniformed policewoman, and one of the scenes shot on the backlot includes being tied to a prop cactus at 0:50. Since the movie is about an unlucky actress shooting a movie, it's mostly played for laughs.

From the film "Postcards from the Edge", starring the awesome Meryl Streep. Besides the short rope scene, I decided to also include all her uniformed scenes in this clip, as it's not everytime I can see her in a tight-fitting LAPD uniform.
