Developing Resilience In The New Economy Edited

As I study the lives of great leaders, one common denominator stood out in my mind.

The leaders who shaped their worlds and created new futures were defined by their indomitable fighting spirit.

As much as they preferred to pick their battles, they were - at the same time - operationally prepared to fight against all odds to reach their desired destinations.

Quitting was never an option, and nor was it ever given a chance to reside in the spaces of their minds.

The leaders who never quit and who bounce back from failure would eventually lead their people to the promised land.

These leaders suffered many defeats.

Went through more than their fair share of traumas, pains and brokenness.

However, they chose to capitalize on these challenges to further strengthen their fighting spirit.

They are committed to grow bigger than their problems and fight more wisely to achieve a final victory.

Successful people have one common denominator, especially during a climate of turbulence - resilience.
