While I'm recovering from spinal fusion...nothing to do, all whacked out on drugs...HA...NOT...but dang'd would be nice to have some help w my pain...but I love getting calls from scammers.
Playing piano is too painful for now, so must lay in my bed watching YT stuff and answering scammers calls. BTW...am having a few things done to our kitchen cabinets...so is messy and noisy
When I take their time, stringing them along with their hoping to get the information they can use to take money...IT WORKS as millions of dollars get taken from unsuspecting people. I know several women who were WARNED of these scammers, but refused to believe good advice. One woman lost her home, her RV and two cars as she sold them to send $ to her new boyfriend an Army General who fell in love with her...Her family took her to FBI office where they PROVED to her there was NO such man, and was a Nigerian scammer. But she wanted it to be true and when she lost every penny sent him, his promise to come to US never happened...he stopped talking to her since she's unable to send him money and she's living in her sisters basement living on a few dollars...NO home, NO RV, No car, NOT even money for rent or food. NOW she understands that Army General scammed her...but too late, but her mistake was posting she recently widowed, lonely, 60 yr old woman on her FB page.
Another woman lost a few thousand dollars w promises to have 2 puppies shipped to her from Cameroon Africa...what an idiot...she lost money she borrowed. I warned her it was a scam, but when they failed to ship the two puppies and she'd sent them several thousand dollars...she blamed ME for putting a Kaibosh, bad JuJu on her getting the puppies...she was pissed at me for years. I had to laugh when last year she lost $800 to similar scammers...they called using the PGE utility company phone number, telling her they'll shut her electric off if not paid NOW...she went to Target, got 2 cards to pay $800...I'd also warned her NOT to talk to ANYONE with those Indian accents...and to question everything...she refused to listen. Her husband was in the hospital recovering from open-heart surgery...he'd paid their power bill before his surgery, so they weren't late...
WELL....whenever I'm stringing them along...usually 20-45 mins...they're NOT calling your loved ones and scamming them...if we all ddi this, will slow them down.
