Foolosophy: Woke, Transanity and Nominalism pt3

Ask yourself, what are the logical and legal implications if a Supreme Court Judge refuses to acknowledge that a woman is a female human that can bear children and refuses to define what a woman is. How does this affect application and interpretation of law if the legal system does not know and cannot define what a woman is?
Is it true that a man can simulate female characteristics, like wearing a wig to simulate long hair, and put on a bra with a couple of tennis balls in them, and thus become a woman?

The notion that words and definitions have no objective meaning or grounding is nominalism. It leads directly to the kind of absurdities we're discussing. If there are no objective truths or meanings, if everything is just a social construct, then who's to say a man can't be a woman simply by declaring it so? Why can't we redefine any word to mean anything we want? This is the philosophical junk food the radical left has been feeding on for decades now.

Nominalism strips language of its meaning. It divorces words from objective reality. And when that happens, the law soon follows, becoming unmoored from its basis.

We recognize that words have objective meaning which flows from how nature, biology, and society have traditionally understood those words. Reality exists independent of our descriptions of it. A woman is an adult human female - she has been since the dawn of time, not just since some court redefined her for political purposes.

Nominalism denies this common sense view and invites exactly the kind of incoherence and absurdity we now see on display.Nominalism is the deeper rot at work here.

A certain Supreme Court judge needs a crash course in realism and objectivism, but chose radical philosophy and gender theory.

This problem is not just superficial but taps into some deeper philosophical error.
