God’s forgiveness has paid the penalty we should have paid and He has fully restored us to live a life of meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. Sadly, though, many never step into the new life that Jesus has offered. True freedom is experienced through sanctification, when we step up into the calling that Jesus has given to us. Peter’s story gets played out in Acts and we see a man not only living a life of freedom but making a world-changing impact. Much like Peter, you too have been forgiven, restored, loved, and invited to make a difference. The sins the enemy wanted to use to destroy you, by God’s grace, oftentimes become the weapons that we use to not only destroy the enemy but bring others to freedom.
