Wherever God’s word goes and wherever it takes preeminence, it changes things. Why, because it is God’s tool. He does not have a storehouse in heaven with bulldozers, hammers, chisels, nails, or any other such tools. However, He has His words. And His word is enough. In fact, God Himself says that He honors His word above His name, meaning that His word precedes every authority and reputation of His name. In other words, whatever His name represents and whatever power it yields, His Word goes before them. He is committed to living up to that reputation by always putting His word first.
