WARNING: Contains bits of Peppa Pig getting even worse.
Tickle U was the one attempt for the original Cartoon Network to have its own preschool block which (you guessed it) had its own sweet little animated CGI characters introducing all the programmes and telling jokes rather than educating them.
Why i say that, because sure enough, it failed miserably and got axed after two years and a bit.
I understand that considering some of the US dubs of our British programmes weren't that good and the block itself wasn't educational which caused controversy for toddlers' parents over there, so it was very bland indeed.
The programmes included on the block were Gerald McBoing Boing, Firehouse Tales, Little Robots, the irritating bacon butty known as Peppa Pig and a great variety of Collingwood O'Hare's works like Harry and his Dinosaurs, Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! and Gordon the Garden Gnome.
Here, i've recovered a Flash back of all the games on Tickle U's website which are at least a bit educational introducing the eye co-ordination and recognition of characters to small children using the Internet.
Some of which are the same as anything, but with different characters.
And a good thing too that this block didn't get sold to other countries, unless they would've done better with adding in educational content and not just comedy to enthrall kids at the time.
