Welcome to Emmanuel AME Church in Durham! We are excited to invite you to join us for a powerful and inspiring sermon titled "Restoration After the Shout" based on 1 Kings 19:1-9.

In this scripture, we see the prophet Elijah who had just experienced a great victory on Mount Carmel, shouting and celebrating the triumph over the prophets of Baal. However, he soon finds himself in a place of fear and despair, running for his life and feeling alone. But, as we will discover, God does not leave Elijah in this place of hopelessness, but instead restores him and equips him for what lies ahead.

This message is relevant to all of us who have experienced the mountaintop moments in life, only to find ourselves facing trials and challenges shortly after. It is a reminder that God is with us in every season, and that even when we feel alone and lost, He is working behind the scenes to bring about restoration and renewal.
