Too often, we see the 10 Commandments as a list of do’s and don’ts, rather than seeing them as being commands that teach us about God. Yes, He gave us those very important commandments for good reason. Yes, each of the 10 Commandments is a revelation about and insight into the character of God Himself. Who else would say, “Make sure you take a day off every week, and do that for every week of the year, and every year of your life! Generous? Perhaps. All knowing? Yes, indeed. God knows what is best for us and so each commandment is carefully chosen by Him to help us live good and godly lives … reflecting the character and nature of God in all we do. Thank you for joining us today. May your hearts be blessed by our time of worship together, and may this message help you see the 10 Commandments in a whole new way.
