This video provides an extensive analysis on the writings of the 20th century French philosopher Jean Baudrillard and his perspectives upon the body within the domain of a modern consumerist society and neoliberal capitalist system. Foucault's notion of biopolitics emerging from the 17th century onwards, and bodies in relation to social media in the 21st century are additionally covered subjects of interest.
