And we've got a pair of them in this episode! In the summer of 2010, Mother England debuted a new crime-drama called "Vexed". The first season of the show featured only three episodes (all with no names), but the finale delivered for us DiD fans. The plot was that a pop icon (played by Scarlett Rose Patterson) has been kidnapped by a crazed fan. We do get to see her stashed in a locker and sporting a duct tape gag for a brief moment, however, this is all an excuse to lead us to the real action. In what is one of the most creative DiD scenes on record, the episode climaxes with Lucy Punch (the female lead) riding around on the crippled madman's wheelchair. She is bound up nicely and gagged with an exquisitely applied strip of sticky duct tape during the whole exchange. Ms. Punch would depart the show after this, and it would return 2 years later with a disappointing second season before being canceled. At least we'll always have this original and unique scene to remember it by!
