A freestyle to Sondae’s STAND UP

Recorded this bit of a freestyle a few days ago, I’m sharing cause it’s points out something I believe to be helpful. God’s been teaching me to have moments with Him. Moments without restraint, that aren’t curated, edited, and “perfected” (whatever that even means ????????‍♂️)
He’s been shedding a light on somethings things in me that seemed helpful but are actually bondage. Perfectionism being one of them. I currently believe that perfectionism is largely demonic in nature. It promises improvement but actually handicaps you as you remain in isolation, part of growth is sharing yourself as you really are, as long as you live in this high tower of “Oh I can’t come out yet, I’m working on myself.” You stifle the growth God does by having you grow in public. With your siblings, your fellow seedlings. Seeds grow in the sun, in the field, where we can all behold their beauty as they blossom into plants. Similarly we grow in THE SON in the FIELD of the harvest of the world, in the public before men, so that men can see our light clearly and behold our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. We have to STAND UP, God has really been saying NO MORE CLOSETS. Not closets of sin, that’s a given, but no closets of good either, no burying talents. That’s what led to the recent songs and partly this vid. Also a sibling in The Lord encouraged me that The Lord would have me share. So I did.

The point is sharing oneself, you can’t love what you don’t know, and we are in God’s house, God’s family, we are to know each other and know God even as we are known of Him.

Perfection isn’t in that picture.

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father who is in Heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48 KJV

The word perfect here actually means Complete
Specifically:
having reached its end, complete, perfect

Usage: perfect, (a) complete in all its parts, (b) full grown, of full age, (c) specially of the completeness of Christian character.

The scripture is actually an encouragement not a challenge, an encouragement to complete as God is, lacking nothing, full of all the fruits of The Spirit.

I was Complete in this moment, Complete in Our Father.
