Terraria Hardcore, Master, "For The Worthy" series, Ep 14: Fishing for Fortunes!

I am performing a really difficult challenge on Terraria, on the Vanilla version of the game. It involves using a Hardcore character in a Master Mode world that uses the “For The Worthy” seed. Without using modifications in a Journey World or using mods, this is one of the hardest possible challenges on the Vanilla version of the game.

Hardcore Mode means that my character only has a single life, and death that would occur for any reason is permanent. To learn more about Hardcore Mode, refer to this link: https://terraria.gamepedia.com/Difficulty#Hardcore.

Master Mode means that the enemies and bosses in the world deal much more damage and have lots more health, and some gain new and upgraded attack patterns. To learn more about Master Mode, refer to this link: https://terraria.gamepedia.com/Master_Mode.

“For The Worthy” is a secret world seed that brings loads of harder and unique changes to the world, such as natural spawning of Explosive Bunnies, with really limited beneficial changes. Red Potions can naturally appear in chests in this world, and they give buffs in this world seed only, instead of debuffs. Also, unlike regular world seeds, special world seeds (such as this one) are always random, meaning that 2 worlds created with this same seed will always be different. Generally, I will not skip parts of my Hardcore Mode, Master Mode, “For The Worthy” attempt, so that I am able to prove that I have been following my rules and/or win conditions. However, some really tedious parts may be skipped and if I need to pause the game during a session, I will automatically skip that section as well.

My main class aims to mostly have lots of shield (damage reduction), which will allow me to reduce damage by a percentage. Having a low amount of shield will be ineffective against most attacks and hazards, but when I manage to have a significant amount of it, I will be able to reduce lots of damage. My main weapon class will be melee (but I will use Whips as well). My main weapon stats I intend to improve is my damage output of my weapons, the amount of debuffs I can deal on my enemies, piercing for crowd control and to keep enemies away, and penetration to ignore enemy defense and deal even more damage. Offence is good defense, I must say!

I am not limited to my classes, and I am allowed to use other classes and items if I wish, at any time, for any reason, and in unlimited amounts.

In this session, I hunt for a Life Crystal and finally find one after a while of searching, find an Explosives trap and manage to disable it quite safely, go and do some fishing in relative peace (and while I do that, I get items such as an Iron Crate, Wooden Crates, lots of Bass, Armored Cavefish and so on), battle some enemies near the fishing place if they get in my way, craft some Enchanted Nightcrawlers (but I should have done that before I started fishing) and fight some enemies.
