God's Bible School and College Graduate Program

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- 2024 Spring Break is April 8th-13th
- Summer course offerings are available at https://www.gbs.edu/masters-program-form/classes-registration/

DESCRIPTION:
We know that we live in a groaning world, one waiting to be set free from its bondage to corruption (Rom. 8:21-22). When Jesus, the Apostles, Prophets and Psalmists were confronted with grief and tragedy, they practiced lament. However, Christians today are often unfamiliar with the practice. Praise, thanksgiving, and testimonies of victory are like highways we know well. Lament, however, is like an uncharted wilderness. In our time together, we are ask:
- What is lament?
- How is lament different from grief?
- How can we experience God’s grace through lament?
- What are some tools for practicing lament individually and corporately?
